We are accepting donations again!! Please email us to set up a drop off or pick up.
**The building is still closed to the public so all donations are by appointment only.**
We accept most digital cameras in good, working condition, made within the last 5-7 years. We accept almost all 35mm/120mm cameras in working order, we are always in need of lenses and potentially lighting. In addition, we accept expired film, and photo printers in working order. Other equipment in including larger format cameras and unique items are accepted, just please reach out to us ahead of time. And feel free to email us with any questions.
We are currently overstocked on darkroom chemicals (other than powdered D-76), enlargers, trays, tongs, developing canisters etc.
We cannot accept any broken or incomplete items.
If the camera is a recent model used in a class it will go right into a student’s hand. If it’s a model that we don’t use in class, it goes to our eBay store to generate much needed funds to buy other photographic supplies for class and the darkroom. If you have questions about whether or not your equipment donation is suitable, or want to schedule your in-kind donation drop off, email or call us (206) 723-1479!
NOTE: Make sure to gather an estimated value for your items as well as an inventory list to bring with you when donating.
The building is still closed to the public so all donations are by appointment only.
Thank you for supporting our Mission!
We believe in the power of photography. But even more than that, we believe in our youth. That's why we approach photography as a means of curiosity, exploration, and self-discovery. We create a safe, inclusive community, teach photography at no cost, and provide mentorship for South Seattle youth.
