Partner programs

Hire Us For your program!

Did you know that you can hire Youth in Focus to teach your young people how to photograph in your own space?

We expand our program offerings through partnerships with regional schools, nonprofits, and fellow youth-serving organizations, allowing us to both collectively better serve our communities and meet students where they are. We collaborate with partners to co-develop photography and media arts workshops, classes, and activities that are free to youth participants. We have partnered with organizations such as: Seattle Japanese Garden, Woodland Zoo Park, Garfield Teen Life Center, Summit Atlas & Sierra, and more!

“Summit Sierra High School is proud to partner with Youth in Focus to bring photography courses to our students through our Expeditions program. Youth in Focus consistently brings passionate and knowledgeable teaching artists to lead our young folks in engaging and meaningful experiences where they focus not just on the art of taking photos, but really push students to think deeply about how they choose to frame and portray the world they live in.Through their course, our students play with perspective, light, and capture beauty in their everyday lives.”

- Leah Gooden, Director of Expeditions Summit Sierra High School
