Hello, my name is EmbryAnna and I am in my second year of being on the Youth Advisory Board (YAB). I first learned about Youth in Focus when I showed up for a showcase I was invited to, which led me to signing up for a summer class called "Music Video Camp". Right after that class, I fell in love with Youth in Focus and joined the youth advisory board. Since then I've been taking classes when it doesn't overlap with school events and always trying to create new ideas to help grow.

My names fathema im a junior at hbp. i use photography to capture things i wanna remember in life, but also to put my feelings and thoughts into photos. Using them for ways of self expression. A throughout the times I have been doing photography i have been able to put effort and care into the things around me. I have been able to find something i been able to learn that picking up something new will never be a problem. Everyday i learn something new from people around me and im thankful. I see and i learn from tons of artist. Dont be afraid to create a new path.

Hello, my name is Ramone P. I'm a junior in highschool and this is my third year with Youth In Focus and my first year on the Youth Advisory Board. I was introduced to the wonders of photography by my dad, he gave me an Olympus point-and-shoot film camera and that same year signed me up for a few summer camps. Ever since then, my love, passion, curiosity, and desire to learn more about photography of all formats has done nothing but grow exponentially.

What are you supposed to talk about in a 3 sentence bio? Ah crap, I just used one, now two of my sentences! Well, I am very excited to be here on the youth advisory board, to contribute to the awesome community and environment we have here at YIF, and as for some of my hobbies, other than photography, I really enjoy watching movies, collecting vinyl records and volunteering in my school’s community.

My name is Parker, I’m 16 and I’ve been with Youth In Focus for what’s going on my 5th year! I’m part of the Youth Advisory Board this year (and the previous year) because i like having the opportunity to help improve the program where i can as the target audience. Everyone’s voice matters at YIF whether you express yourself through words or photos the community is there to listen.

Yo! I'm Jace, i'm relatively new to the youth in focus advisory board but i'm all excited to make a difference and engage in new experiences out of my own comfort zone! I love capturing moments that feel like a photo that tells a story and becomes lost in time. I believe that story can be one of the greatest forms of expression a photographer can express and can't wait to share more with yall!

Hey my name’s Kairos and this is my second year on the Youth Advisory board. I’m 18 and I’ve been with Youth in Focus for around 3-4 years now. I’m excited to be back and looking forward to what we do this year :D
